After completing his undergraduate education, Rob joined the Navy and was selected for service in the submarine force. During his first tour of duty he was an officer filling vital and varied rolls in one of the most demanding environments in the US military. In 2023, he successfully completed his Nuclear Engineer Officer qualification with the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. He was fortunate to be selected for the Navy’s civilian graduate education program, and upon completion of his M.S. will return to the Navy to serve as a submarine department head.
